House
Where the home is, for state holidays and schools near home.
Home area
No street address is kept: the city, state and ZIP code are enough. They stay on this PC. Public holidays on the calendar: US federal holidays + Illinois.
Look things up online
When on, the app can list schools near home, check a college's name and find a school's, college's or employer's calendar for the year (edit a person on the Family page), and show the local weather on Today and the Mitra Wall (needs the ZIP code).
What goes out: the ZIP code, the state, the public name of a school, college or employer and the school year. Never anyone's name, the family name, a street address, a phone number or any account or ID number. The weather sends only the ZIP code and the ZIP area's rough position (National Weather Service in the US, else Open-Meteo). School lists come from the US Department of Education's public directory; finding a calendar asks your AI to search the web (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini or OpenRouter key). Days read from a calendar wait in the Inbox until you add them. Other calendars you add in Settings › Connections (iCloud, Outlook) are fetched separately, whether this is on or off.
